I have often been blessed
by people leaving me gifts of
their exotic bird’s feathers.
Most often I purchase feathers from people who have rescued many birds.
What I pay them goes to feed the birds
in their care.
Most people when acquiring a parrot or macaw as a pet do not realize that these birds can live as long as 100 years!
Other people have had me create a mask for them with their bird’s feathers and I get to have the left over feathers
to put into my feather palette.
These brilliant colored feathers make beautiful accents in my butterfly masks and other unique styled masks.
