Just Playing Around

Sometimes I just like to get “wild” with the feathers.
Samples of these masks can be fould below.

“Wild One” and “Mardi Gras” has become a concept I repeat, but because they are such a mix of either natural feathers or dyed hackles. They don’t have set patterns, I have fun mixing colors that I don’t usually put together. For these, I get to play around a bit.

A “Mardi Gras” is created using
a mix of dyed rooster hackles.
They can be “Winged” also.
They rarely have eye accents.

A “Wild One” is created using feathers from 5 different types of Pheasants.
Ring Neck, Reeves, Golden,
Lady Amherst & Silver Pheasant.
A couple of Macaw feathers
are also used.
